GTech Round Robin Recap

The Gamecocks traveled to Georgia Tech for their 2017 spring season openers! The ladies finished the weekend 1-1 with a 0-1 loss against Georgia Tech, and a 3-2 win agains Auburn University.

Our game against GT was filled with intensity and signs of good play to come this spring as the team gets more opportunities to practice and play together. Our second game against AU showed the new squad their ability to play as one. Good ball movement and team defending developed as the game went on. Goals in the Auburn game were scored by Brook Green, and also two goals from Rachel Teague.

The Gamecocks continue with practice this week in preparation for the weekend travel to Elon University on sunday at 1:00 pm. The team will also be holding a percent night at Maddio's Pizza on Main st. Wednesday the 8th from 6:00- 9:00 pm! Stop by and enjoy some great food while supporting the team!
