This weekend the Gamecocks found themselves surrounded by orange and purple (gross) as they travelled out to Clemson for the second round robin of the year. Finally the weather was favorable, and everyone was ready to get some revenge for our only loss last season.

The first game against Furman saw another strong start from the Gamecocks, playing a man down the midfield adapted easily and easily connected with each other all the way up the field. The game ended in a 3-0 Gamecock dub, with goals from newbie Julia Treanor, freshman Victoria Bell, and our very own secretary Natalie Drouillard.

The second game against Clemson was hard fought as most USC/Clemson matches are. Clemson scored a goal early that was responded to by midfielder Maddy Reed, however they took control late in the second half and the game ended in a 1-3 loss.
